Well, here we are! My very first blog post on House of Rachel, I finally did it. It feels a bit mad to be sitting down to write this, but I'm delighted to have you with me. If you're new here and fancy getting to know me and the gang a little better, I've shared it all over on my About page, I would love for you to have a read.

A full, but happy house

I don't know where the summer went. The girls have been off and loving every minute, the twins are keeping us on our toes as always, and the house has gone from busy to a whole new level of busy! If your house is anything like mine right now, there's not a clean surface in sight and someone is always looking to be fed. But sure, it's the best kind of chaos, isn't it? With the back to school creeping up on us, I'm trying to soak up these last few weeks before the routine kicks in again.

The idea behind it all

The reason I wanted to start this is simple. I'm so proud of the community we've built together, and I wanted somewhere to share what I'm up to and the things I love, somewhere that doesn't disappear after 24 hours! Think of this as the forever home for all my top finds, including all the little bits and pieces that don't always make it onto my grid. From motherhood to interiors, fashion and beauty, I'll be sharing it all right here, so you've always got a place to come back to.
