I try my best to keep on top of my DMs, I really do, but sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day! So I thought I would sit down and get through a few of the questions that keep coming my way!

All of my rugs are from Kukoon. I have picked up a good few of them at this stage and I have never been let down. Great quality, they wear really well with the kids and the dog traipsing over them, and there is such a huge choice that you will always find something to suit whatever room you're thinking of!

I do, but with a big disclaimer, I'm only a mammy sharing what worked for us, not an expert, so always follow your own little one and have a chat with your public health nurse if you need to.

The main thing I would say to all the mammies is take the pressure off, off yourself and off the baby. Some days they will devour everything in front of them and the next they will turn their nose up at the very same dinner, and that is completely normal.

Go slow and keep offering, even the bits that got a firm no the first few times. And expect mess, so much mess. A good bib, a mat under the high chair and a bit of a laugh will get you a long way.

Ha, I am not, let me stop you there!

What you see online is about two minutes of a very long day. For every nice photo there is a pile of washing, someone mid meltdown, and me still in yesterday's leggings running on no sleep and a cold cup of tea.

I have my off days like every mammy, days where I'm tired and cranky and giving out to myself over nothing. The internet is only ever the highlight reel, mine included.

We are all just winging it, I promise you that.

The kitchen walls are Hidden Cove by Colourtrend. It is one of those colours that shifts with the light all day, and it makes the whole room feel warm and calm, even when there is chaos going on in it!

Oh, where do I start. House of Rachel is really only getting going and I could not be more excited about it.

This is my little corner of the internet where I get to tell the longer version of the story, all the bits that never quite fit into an Instagram caption before someone needs feeding. I have big plans to keep growing it with more of the fashion, beauty, home and motherhood bits you have been asking for.

Honestly, I love doing these. It is mad to think a message from a stranger can feel like a chat with a friend, but that is exactly what this little community has become, and I will never take it for granted.

So keep them coming, no question is ever too big or too small. I'm going to try my best to as many of these as I can!
